Ah, yes. It's been a while.
I'm not quite sure what's been keeping me around, despite the fact that I haven't posted a single piece of art in ages. I do keep tabs on my old favorite artists, while still searching for something new and exciting as well.
There's no doubt I won't be asleep for a while, since I have five iced teas this afternoon (or as my friends call them, "nuked teas"). As that artificial sweetness continues to linger in my bloodstream, that irresistible sense that I'm wearing a mask still plagues my mind. May I thank the Hedda Gabblers of this world for creating this inability to detect what's real and what is not? Or shall I pace back and forth with the Hamlets of my time as I debate whether or not I should "bear the whips and scorns of time"?
I really have got a crazy streak in me, don't I?
Enough with the games. I don't know who I am any more. I don't know what I want any more. I'm torn between two realities, and I'm tired of playing both sides. I'm sick. For those who are actually able and willing to read this slightly disturbing piece of writing from me, don't worry, I'm not actually planning on doing anything foolish. Not yet, any way.
Perhaps this is all fabricated. Wouldn't it be nice to spin a top or hold up something that would ultimately prove whether or not every little thing you did was real?
Hm. It's too bad, really.
I think I'm starting to enjoy my dreams more than my reality.
